Laboratories are places where people try out new thing, test ideas, and bring abstract concepts down to the ground. They are places where theory meets reality. They are places where we get to make messes without fear of making mistakes. The KU History Lab, then, is a place where faculty and students get to experiment with the past.
This site brings together a few ongoing experiments in history and history education here at KU. First and foremost, this is the public-facing home of the Department of History’s new Historical Research Internship. It is also the home to KU Rephotography Project. Other projects in the works will also find a home here.
